A heat transfer process in which a chemical species flow is heated by heat exchange, by providing a source of applied electromagnetic energy that creates heat; directing at least a portion of the chemical species flow over the source of applied electromagnetic energy wherein the chemical species flow absorbs heat from the applied electromagnetic energy source to create a heated chemical species flow; and directing the heated chemical species flow into a device that uses applied electromagnetic energy to react gases within the chemical species flow.

A user accesses the Internet through a hybrid data communications system architecture in which upstream service is provided via the local loop of the public switched telephone network (PSTN) and downstream service is provided via a cable television (CATV) network. The Cable Modem Data Termination system (CMTS) includes a routing table. Upon detection of a CATV service interruption, the CMTS re-routes IP traffic destined for a destination IP address (IP) associated with the user to a different IP address, or endpoint, as a function of the routing table. In this instance, the different IP address is associated with equipment that provides downstream IP service to the user via the local loop of the PSTN.

Abstract:

A method is used to increase the energy content of a pipeline and other vessels that are designed to carry natural gas under ambient conditions, in a compressed state or in a liquefied state. Methane and other gas are used as the feedstock. Methane from natural gas fields, coal beds or derived from hydrogen reacting with coal are primary energy sources for this method. Also, this method could provide an abundant source for hydrogen production. Energy from hydrogen is used for fuel cell applications that generate electricity and power motor vehicles. This method is capable to increase the energy capacity of current natural gas pipelines and other storage and transport vessels.
