Abstract:

A module support for forming a unitary display preferably from containers having outwardly extending access panels. In particular, a common module support for creating an array from two or more container modules is provided. The module support may be advantageously utilized as a stand alone display for floor, shelf, and/or counter placement. The module support may also be hung on a wall or column using hanging elements, e. g. , double-sided adhesives, hook and loop fastening elements, and hook and/or aperture elements.

Abstract:

A track lighting system comprises an extruded track body, having adjacent first and a second track sections; a defined entrance to the track body that is common to both the first and the second track sections, a respective conductive member connectable to an electrical power source disposed at a bottom of each of the first and the second track sections so as to form two independent circuits within the extruded track body; and a separating wall positioned between the first track and the second track. The system further comprises a light fixture insertable through the entrance so as to make electrical connection with one of the conductive members, the fixture comprising: a socket housing a stem connecting the socket housing to a transformer housing containing an electrical circuit having an output transformer; a lamp in electrical connection with the output transformer by wires within the stem; and the transformer housing including a wall having first and second contact slots formed therein.

Abstract:

Period economic earnings performance of a business enterprise is calculated using only those revenues generated by the enterprise's stipulated commercial activities and the expenses realized, directly or indirectly, in the generation of those revenues. Income and expenses generated by activities of the enterprise that are extraneous to the stipulated commercial activities are excluded from the calculation of the enterprise's period earnings. According to one implementation, earnings performance is calculated according to the present invention by starting with the enterprise's as-reported earnings, calculated in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and making adjustments to the as-reported earnings to include certain specified items that were not included in the as-reported earnings and to exclude other specified items that were included in the as-reported earnings.

A radio apparatus and method for non-invasive, thoracic radio interrogation of a subject for the collection of hemodynamic, respiratory and/or other cardiopulmonary related data from the subject includes a antenna positionable proximally to the subject, a radio transmitter transmitting an unmodulated radio interrogation signal of a predetermined fixed frequency at a safe level of about 1 milliwatt or less from the antenna into the subject and a radio receiver capturing through the antenna, reflections of the transmitted radio interrogation signal returned from the subject. Abstract:

An amorphous silicon semiconductor having a gradient doping profile is produced by thermo-electrically diffusing an ionizable deposit material such as antimony or aluminum, for example, into the amorphous silicon layer. Embodied in a photovoltaic device, the gradient doping profile increases the width of the depletion or barrier region and concurrently ensures an ohmic contact between amorphous silicon and current carrying electrodes.
