Abstract:
The present mechanism provides a solution to the needs described above through a system and method for managing data exchange among systems in a network. The systems and methods of the present mechanism translate data from a system specific local format to a generic interchange format object, and vice versa, with predefined stylesheets using generic components and a system specific service components which utilize a native application programming interface of the specific local system.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a system and method for integrating disparate business applications, and managing the applications processes in a hardware resource and user effort efficient manner. The automated system of the present invention uses a business systems platform comprised of several unique servers to efficiently manage multiple applications which are themselves generally distributed across a network, and to control the execution of the required tasks with minimum use of redundant data input to the several applications, thereby minimizing the use of hardware resources and user input effort. Business objects are controlled through a persistence framework which is Java, XML and EJB based.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a solution to the needs described above through a system and method for integrating the disparate platforms and software applications, and dynamic generation of web content in a user effort efficient manner. The system of the present invention uses an Web Content Server to interact with disparate systems and to improve the productivity of building web content. The Web Content Server provides a page engine or platform that separates data production, interaction elements, and display information and maintains these aspects of page production in different files.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed towards apparatuses and methods for the automated measurement of blood analytes and blood parameters for bedside monitoring of patient blood chemistry. Particularly, the current invention discloses a programmable system that can automatically draw blood samples at a suitable programmable time frequency (or at predetermined timing), can automatically analyze the drawn blood samples and immediately measure and display blood parameters such as glucose levels, hematocrit levels, hemoglobin blood oxygen saturation, blood gases, lactate or any other blood parameter.

Abstract:
The present invention is an integrated, test substrate handling apparatus for the measurement and analysis of blood analytes and blood parameters. The test substrate handling apparatus includes multiple test substrate components combined in a single unit. It advances a test substrate for measurement of blood parameters via programmed, periodic blood sampling or via operator input.

The present invention is a programmable, automated device for the measurement and analysis of blood analytes and blood parameters. The device components are combined in a single apparatus and either programmed to initiate automatic, periodic blood sampling or initiate automatic blood sampling via operator input. The device operates automatically to draw blood samples at suitable, programmable frequencies to analyze the drawn blood samples and obtain the desired blood readings.
