Abstract:

A system and method for a payee to initiate at a point of sale an electronic funds transfer from an account of a payor to the account of the payee, comprising the steps of: obtaining from the payor the duplicate part of a completed two-part draft instrument comprising an original and a duplicate and having account identifying information printed thereon in machine-readable form, the original being configured for use as a conventional draft instrument, and the duplicate being configured for selective use as either a duplicate of the original, or as the originating document for an electronic funds transfer, said duplicate part of the draft instrument being completed by the payor to authorize the payee to present the check electronically so as to initiate an electronic funds transfer for the face amount of the instrument; scanning the instrument to electronically read the account identifying information; presenting the instrument electronically through an electronic clearing house network so as to initiate at the point of sale an electronic funds transfer from the payor to the payee; keeping the duplicate part of the instrument as the payee's record of the electronic funds transfer authorization; allowing the payor to keep the original part of the instrument as a record of the electronic funds transfer authorization. Also a two-part draft instrument form comprising: a first part configured for use as a conventional paper draft instrument; and a second part configured for being a duplicate of the first part, and also configured for separate selective use as the originating document for an electronic funds transfer.

Abstract:

A server for displaying and keeping cool wine bottles and the like includes a generally cylindrical housing open at the top for receiving a bottle, wherein the side wall of the housing generally conforms to and surrounds the side exterior of the bottle. A bottom wall is joined at its perimeter to the side wall to form a receptacle for housing ice in contact with the side wall. A support structure is positioned within the housing above the bottom wall to hold a bottle above and out of contact with the ice, with the support structure including an opening to allow placement of ice into the receptacle through the top opening of the housing. At least one-half of the area of the side wall is made of a heat conductive material and the remaining area of the side wall is made of a substantially transparent material to enable viewing the interior of the server. At least a portion of the heat conductive material of the side wall is positioned to contact ice placed in the receptacle and to extend vertically upwardly to surround a portion of a bottle placed in the server.

Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to a content management system that automatically determines and generates topic clusters from a collection of electronic text documents. For example, the content management system analyzes a collection of electronic text documents to identify key terms and terms related to the key terms. Based on the key terms and related terms, the content management system generates a topic cluster that includes the key term and related terms. The content management system then organizes the electronic text documents based on terms within a given text document matching terms within a given topic cluster. Further, the content management system presents the topic clusters and organized electronic text documents to a user.
