Abstract:

A method of supporting at least two different investor groups with different maximum leverage ratios in one investment fund is disclosed. Each different investor group may have an associated tracking account. According to various embodiments, the method includes establishing contractual arrangements between investors of the investor groups, the investment fund and an external lender. The contractual arrangements limit the recourse of the external lender to assets allocable to the investors of an investor group if the tracking account associated with such investor group triggers a margin call on a loan from the external lender. Alternatively, the contractual arrangements may limit the recourse of the external lender to assets allocable to the investors of an investor group if the trading account triggers a margin call to the extent that such call is allocable to such investor group. Loan proceeds from the external lender and contributions from each investor of the find are invested through a trading account associated with the investment fund. The method also includes calculating an allocation percentage of a trading account of the investment fund for each investor group to account for profits and losses of the trading account over the trading cycle based on the leverage ratio of each investor group.

Abstract:

Ticketing systems and methods, as well as related computer product programs, provide efficient and user-friendly seat selection by incorporating realistic seating charts. An advantageous ticketing system may include data related to a physical layout of a venue. The ticketing system may generate a three-dimensional model of the venue, from which one or more seating charts may in turn be generated. A user may search the ticketing system for seats based on customized user search parameters, which may include searching across multiple performances. In response to the user search, the ticketing system may provide an interactive three-dimensional seating chart depicting a relatively accurate seat layout based on the venue data. The user may manipulate the seating chart to view the venue from various perspectives, and the user may select seats from the seating chart. Other embodiments of the ticketing system are also disclosed herein.

Abstract:

A paper roll-spindle ejection device can be operated manually by one hand and includes a mounting plate for securing the device relative to a paper dispenser or paper roll wall mounting. An actuator tab is hinged to the mounting plate and carries two fingers. These fingers are hinged on the tab and extend into the space between the spindle and the otherwise contiguous surface of the dispenser. By pressing the tab, the fingers compress the spindle and urge the spindle and empty core of the paper roll out of the dispenser.

Abstract:

A pneumatic transmission system has a customer terminal, a teller terminal and a transmission tube connecting the terminals. A pair of blowers are disposed in the transmission tube. Each terminal has a slide gate which is operable to close the transmission tube, and a catch disposed below the gate which is operable to catch the pneumatic carrier. The carrier is transmitted from one terminal to the other terminal by opening the gate of the one terminal, closing the other gate of the other terminal, and energizing the blower remote from the one terminal, thereby creating a vacuum between the one blower and the carrier. The one blower is de-energized after the carrier has passed the one blower, and the carrier rides down on a cushion of air, coming to rest on the gate of the other terminal. The gate of the other terminal is then opened and the carrier drops downwardly onto the catch of the terminal. A controller and timer facilitate sequencing of the slide gates and blowers.

Abstract:

A solids charging containment apparatus and method for mixing a solvent with a dry powder, comprising a dual compartment isolator for safely removing the dry powder from a dry powder container, a mixing vessel, and a negative cascading pressure controller. The dual compartment isolator comprises a staging compartment, a charging compartment and a raw material entry port, which is connected to the staging compartment and configured to isolate the dry powder container from the surrounding atmosphere. The mixing vessel includes a mixing chamber and a solids charging port fluidly connecting the mixing chamber to a containment valve in the charging compartment of the dual compartment isolator. The negative cascading pressure controller generates negative pressure in both the staging compartment and the charging compartment. The containment apparatus and method may be used to produce a slurry or solution mixture of solvent and dry powder during drug processing.

Abstract:

The present invention contemplates a high dose finished pharmaceutical dosage form comprising a methenamine salt, such as methenamine mandelate, as an active pharmaceutical ingredient wherein the methenamine salt API has a moisture content that is less than the upper limit specified in the USP. A preferred embodiment of the present invention has a moisture content that is half of the limit set forth in the USP for each particular methenamine salt. An even more preferred embodiment has a moisture content of less than or equal to one-tenth of a percent (0.1%), regardless of the methenamine salt. The present invention may include one or more pharmaceutically acceptable ingredients. The present invention also contemplates a moisture content of the high dose finished pharmaceutical dosage form that is less than one percent.
