Abstract:
A hand tool such as a wire stipper or pliers has two elongated members pivotably connected at a joint with a pair of facing jaws on one side of the joint and a pair of handles on the other side of the joint. The handles are ergonomically designed for user comfort. One of the handles is curved about a variable radius on one side only of the handle. The other handle has a complex curvature about centers on both sides of that handle. The handles are covered with sleeves that extend on the outside of the handle from the end to the pivot joint.
Latch for releasably holding spring-loaded door of live bait bucket in retracted position wherein the latch member comprises a one-piece molded plastic strip with a release button at one end, a resilient portion at the other end adapted to bear against an inner wall of the bait bucket so as to urge the bottom outwardly, a door-engaging hook, a retraction-limiting protrusion and suitable guide means.
Extendable jumper cables for transferring electrical energy from a charged battery to a discharged battery include a first short cable having a clamp end that detachably connects to the charged battery, and a plug end that detachably connects to a cooperating plug end of a second short cable. The second short cable includes a clamp end that detachably connects to the discharged batter. The plug ends include cable connection fittings that allow the first and second cables and to be connected together to form typical jumper cables. The plug ends further include respective plugs that cooperate to receive corresponding plugs of an extension cord to increase the length of the extendable jumper cables to electrically connect the batteries together when the distance separating the batteries is greater than the combined length of the first and second short cables.
