A self-contained line generating device uses a laser diode and a lens to project a fan-shaped beam of visible light. The lens is useful for receiving light and transmitting light in an asymmetrical planar beam. The light is useful for aligning objects in a vertical or a horizontal line. The generator also includes a substantially flat face and leveling devices for leveling and orienting the generator onto a flat surface. Retractable pins enable a user to easily mount the line generator onto a wall and align objects.

Abstract:

The present invention provides methods for treating MDD. In general, the methods comprise administering to a patient in need thereof a daily dose of about 50 mg ODV or an equivalent amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. In certain embodiments, a patient in need of treatment is characterized by a primary diagnosis of MDD. In some embodiments, the dose is administered as a single daily dose. In one set of embodiments, the methods involve administering an oral dosage form comprising the succinate salt of ODV.
