Abstract:

A hard surface antimicrobial cleaner is disclosed. The hard surface antimicrobial cleaner includes a disinfectant and a polysiloxane with at least one poly(oxyalkylene) side chain wherein the cleaner kills bacteria on a hard surface for at least 24 hours after being sprayed onto and wiped from the hard surface. The hard surface antimicrobial cleaner may include a solvent, a sequesterant, a surfactant, or a water soluble organosilane. Another version of the cleaner also includes a disinfectant and a polysiloxane with at least one poly(oxyalkylene) side chain and inhibits biofilm formation on a hard surface for at least 24 hours after being sprayed onto the hard surface.

Abstract:

A device for applying stain formulation to a garment or article of clothing while it is being worn is disclosed. The device includes a reservoir with a valve assembly for dispensing an effective stain removal formulation directly to the stain, spot or mark. The device also includes a shell accommodating absorbent pads. After the stain removal formulation is applied, an absorbent pad is pressed and/or rubbed on the stain to lift and remove the stain and to absorb or wick excess fluid thereby reducing the amount of time the resulting wet spot takes to dry. Effective stain removing formulations for on-the-go use are also disclosed.

Abstract:

A device for applying a functional formulation to a surface is disclosed. The device includes a reservoir with a valve assembly for dispensing an effective stain removal formulation directly to the stain, spot or mark. The device also includes a shell accommodating absorbent pads. In use, the functional formulation is delivered through the applicator tip to the surface. The applicator is then rotated and one of the absorbent pads is engaged with the formulation treated surface to dislodge soils and stains on the surface, distribute the functional formulation on the surface, absorb excess formulation from the surface, and/or to lessen visibility of the resulting moistened area as well as reduce the time needed for the moistened area to dry. Suitable functional formulations for use in association with the applicator are also disclosed.

Abstract:

A fluid delivery system for dispensing fluid can include a dispenser (), such as a trigger engine-type dispenser, configured to draw fluid up from a container to dispense a foam-like spray. The dispenser () can be configured to draw fluid up from a container. A dispenser body can be configured to mount the dispenser to the container. The dispenser can include a nozzle (N) having an orifice (), and a mesh (M) material can be placed on the nozzle (N) over the orifice (). The mesh (M) material can be formed of a polymeric material in one example, and in another example, the mesh material can be formed of a stainless steel material. A method of assembling a dispenser configured to draw fluid up from a container is also disclosed, which can include providing a dispenser body configured to mount the dispenser to the container, securing a nozzle having an orifice to the dispenser body, and securing a mesh material to the nozzle.
