Abstract:

A slidable assembly has a cylindrical section with an upper passageway and an axial slit. The slidable assembly also has a support section with an upper strip extending from the upper end of the cylindrical section and a lower strip extending from the lower end of the cylindrical section. A flag has upper and lower edges supported by the strips. A liftable assembly has a wing shaped component and a central passageway. A short projection extends upwardly press fit into the lower end of the cylindrical section of the slidable assembly. An intermediate cylindrical passageway is formed as a coupling between the lower and upper passageway.

Abstract:

A hat clip comprising two hingably secured jaws, a magnet, and a golf ball marker is described. The hat clip may be secured to the inner hat band of a golf cap, hat, or visor and is designed such that a golf ball marker may be magnetically maintained on the outside of the hat while the jaws of the hat clip are hidden from view.
