Abstract:

A computer-based online system for managing a plurality of registries of baby care product selections, where each of the plurality of registries is uniquely associated with a respective one of a plurality of users, and where each baby care product selection corresponds to a baby care product selected at the online system or one of a plurality of retailers, includes a database to electronically store data records corresponding to the plurality of registries, and an application server communicatively coupled to the database. The application server includes a baby care product selector to automatically process a request to add a baby care product selection to a specified one of the plurality of registries, and update at least one data record in the database in accordance with the request, wherein the request is automatically generated by an application running on a smart device; and a purchase manager to automatically process a purchase selection, where the purchase indication is associated with a selection of a certain baby care product included in the specified one of the plurality of registries for purchase by a participant.

Abstract:

A method and multicoupler for a receiver at a base station in a cellular/PCS radio communication system includes a cooled container that is mounted on an antenna tower at the base station. The container is mounted on the antenna tower adjacent an antenna and contains thereinside a preselector filter, a highly linear amplifier, and a directional coupler that are cooled to a temperature less than 175. degree. K. and greater than 100. degree. K. A power splitter is connected between the output from the container and the radio system receiver, and is located at a ground station near the base of the antenna tower. Cooling the components inside the container, particularly the amplifier, to a temperature of about 150. degree. K. reduces the noise from the multicoupler so that base station range is extended, building penetration is improved, and subscriber transmit power may be reduced. The multicoupler may also be used for duplex channels, and in this event a transmit filter may also be cooled to reduce transmit power dissipation by the filter.

A computer-implemented method for facilitating an exchange between two mobile devices based on a request via a platform. The method includes initiating a verification process of at least one social media account and a profile of a first user via an interprocess communication with a social media application installed on the mobile device of the first user. The method may further include assigning a score to the first user based on content of the at least one social media account or the profile of the first user and based on results of the verification process. The method may further include, after a determined period of time, and without direct action on behalf of the first user, directly accessing a source owned or controlled by the first user and transmitting at least a portion of a payment to the second user.

A computer-implemented method for facilitating loans including receiving a loan request specifying a requested loan amount from a plurality of borrowers via a lending platform. The method includes reviewing at least one social media account or profile of each of the plurality of borrowers, and assigning a credit score to each of the borrowers based at least in part on content of the at least one social media account or profile of each borrower. The method further includes providing information relating to the requested loan amount and the assigned credit score of each of the plurality of borrowers to a plurality of lenders via the lending platform, and enabling each lender select at least one of the potential borrowers to receive loaned funds from the lender.
