A system and method for managing abrasive blasting may include timing duration of blast media being blown in performing abrasive blasting using an abrasive blasting machine. Time duration that an operator worked in association with the duration of the blast media being blown may be received. A blasting efficiency ratio may be computed based on the duration of the blasting media being blown and duration of that the operator worked. The blasting efficiency ratio may be displayed to a user.
System And Method For Drying Grit Used For Abrasive Blasting
A method and method for processing grit used for abrasive blasting may include receiving grit blasted onto a surface, where the grit includes moisture content. Air in which the grit being recycled is being processed may be heated. The moisture content may be evaporated from the grit using the heated air to produce dry recycled grit. The dried recycled grit may be stored.

Abstract:
The disclosure illustrates and describes a machine (10) for handling and unstacking dollies (14) loaded with stacks (16) of cross-nested baskets (18) wherein the front and rear walls of the individual baskets are positioned at random. The machine includes an inlet section (12) and an orienting section (20). In the former, lift and pusher elements (36, 42, 44, 46, 51) are provided for separating a stack from its dolly, and in the latter, lift and turn elements (52, 62, 64, 66, 100, 106, 108) are provided for orienting each bottom basket in turn, separating it from the stack, and discharging it.
A portable sandblasting apparatus for continuously treating horizontal surfaces along a path of adjustable width. The apparatus is mounted on a movable platform which is drawn by a motor vehicle or self-propelled along the desired path. The apparatus has sandblast nozzles which reciprocate from side to side with respect to the direction of motion as the apparatus advances so as to provide treatment of a pre-set width of surface. By adjusting the amplitude of reciprocation, positioning the nozzles for continuous coverage and by varying the number of nozzles functioning, the width of surface to be treated may be varied greatly and readily adjusted.
An induction vacuum includes a cylindrical body having an inlet plate, an outlet plate, and a vacuum connector; a nozzle detachably mountable to the inlet plate, a mixing tube detachably mountable to the outlet plate and an exhaust bell detachably mountable to the mixing tube. An induction vacuum kit includes a body, a plurality of nozzles, a plurality of mixing tubes, and at least one exhaust bell. The nozzles and mixing tubes may include identifying indicia and the kit may include instructions recommending nozzle and mixing tube combinations for achieving different vacuum properties.
A modular device for abrasive particle blasting, a method of assembling a mobile abrasive particle blasting device, an apparatus for cleaning steel grit, and a method of cleaning steel grit are disclosed. The modular abrasive particle blasting device includes an abrasive particle storage component, an abrasive particle recovery component, and at least one subframe, adapted for carrying one of the components of the device. The subframe has a first vertical side defining a vertical boundary plane of the subframe and means for reversibly attaching the subframe at the vertical boundary plane to a second subframe structure. The reversible attachment between the first and second subframes is accomplished by providing a bolting pad on the vertical side for complimentary alignment with bolting pad on the adjoining subframe. A lifting attachment is also provided. An apparatus for cleaning steel grit includes a housing defining an enclosed space, an inlet into the housing, a vibrating perforated plate within the housing in line with the inlet, a first outlet of the housing, and a second outlet of the housing below the first outlet.

Abstract:
The specification discloses an accumulating conveyor system (10) including fixed support rails (24), a pair of chains (18), each having half tall links (70) and half short links (72), mounted around upper and lower movable guides (68) and (66) respectively. Air bags (52) serve to raise the guides and chains to lift stacks or cases off the rails, and a cylinder (96) serves to index the raised guides and chains forward, whereupon the air bags are deflated to set the stacks back onto the rails, and the cylinder retracts. When a stack is thus "walked" to the end of the tall links, a switch (104) causes the chains to retract the length of a stack plus a clearance gap relative to the guides (68) to accommodate the accumulation of the next stack and bringing short links beneath the accumulated stacks. When it is desired to discharge the accumulated stacks, a dual level plate member (88), which is slidable relative to the guides, allows the air bags to raise the guides one level higher, thereby causing the short links to lift the accumulated stacks and carry them to discharge when the cylinder indexes. Accumulation and discharge may occur simultaneously.

Abstract:
The drawings illustrate a conveying and stacking machine for handling basket trays and dollies. This machine includes a dual-speed conveyor adapted to receive basket trays, a chute mounted at a predetermined converging angle above the entrance portion of the conveyor and adapted to receive dollies, an end portion pivotally connected to the downstream end of the chute for at times pivotting into close proximity to the conveyor, a magazine for storing two aligned stacks of dollies, a stacking mechanism for receiving and stacking the trays in end-to-end stacks of a predetermined number per stack and calling for a pair of dollies from the chute, if available, or otherwise from the magazine, the dollies thereupon receiving the respective stacks of basket trays and conveying the two assembled basket tray and dolly stacks at a decreased speed to the exit portion of the conveyor.
