A weed extraction tool is disclosed, comprising an elongated handle, a prong assembly, and a step assembly. The prong assembly includes a rod having a plurality of prongs attached at a lower end thereof and a pivot pin holder near its center. The step assembly comprises a flat step portion at one end, a plurality of fingers at another end, and two sides near the center of and under the step assembly. An opening is formed in the top side proximate its center, and each side includes a side opening. The rod of the prong assembly is inserted through the opening in the top side of the step assembly such that a pivot pin may be inserted through one side of the step assembly, through the pivot pin holder, and through the other side of the step assembly, so as to pivotably fix the prong assembly to the step assembly. As such, the opening of the top side of the step assembly is sufficient only to allow the step assembly to pivot between closed and open positions with respect to the prong assembly. In the open position the user may step on the step assembly to burry the prongs into a portion of ground adjacent to a weed.
The invention is a container for safely holding personal items of a user at the beach. The container includes a hollow shell with a pointed lower end, an aperture at a top end, and a cover. With the personal items inserted into the hollow shell through the aperture and the cover closed, the container may be grasped by the user to dig into the ground surface and then be buried below the ground surface. A marker strap is fixed to the shell, such that the marker strap may protrude from the ground surface to mark the location of the buried container. The hollow shell includes a pair of finger apertures for facilitating gripping of the container. The hollow shell further includes a plurality of divider slots and divider panels to divide the container into compartments, allowing the user to organize personal items within the container.
A handle apparatus is provided for mounting onto a roll-down type vehicle window. A hook of thin material and having a width of at least one inch extends over the top edge of the window. The inside surface of the hook forms a planar surface resting in contact with the inside surface of the window. A ring able to accommodate an adult hand extends in a generally downward direction and is attached to the hook. Alternatively, the ring is pivotably fixed to the hook, thereby allowing a variety of sizes of hands to use the device. The ring is preferably D-shaped or C-shaped. The hook material is thin enough to allow the window to close completely with the hook in place. The planar surface contacts the window, thereby holding the ring in a convenient position for a passenger's hand to hold and to grasp the grasping means. The hook is easily installed and removed from the window.

Abstract:
An apparatus is provided for cleaning a surface 5!, the apparatus including a plurality of water absorbing flexible washing layers 10! positioned and secured in a vertical stack 20!. The bottom layer 30! in the stack 20! has the smallest surface area of the plurality of layers 10!, and each successive layer 10! from the bottom to the top of the stack has a successively larger area. A binding means 80! secures the layers 10! together at a central portion 15!, thus forming an integral assembly in which peripheral portions 18! of the layers 10! can move freely. The layers 10! are constructed of a material formulation of approximately 30% viscose material and 70% synthetic fiber in a density of approximately 400 grams per square meter and a thickness of approximately 2. 6 mm. Each layer 10! preferably has a plurality of cuts 40! that define fingers 50! on the peripheral portion 18! of the layers 10!.
