Sir Ronald Flanagan, GBE, QPM, (born 25 March 1949 in Belfast) was the Home Office Chief Inspector of Constabulary for the United Kingdom excluding Scotland.
In 2001 former Police Ombudsman Baroness Nuala OLoan published a highly critical report into the police investigation. That was fiercely rejected by the then PSNI chief constable Sir Ronnie Flanagan.
