Abstract:A foldable envelope blank provides an envelope structure having a closure flap presealed with a temporary bond including microencapsulated fragrance dispersed within an adhesive matrix. The adhesive material is disposed on a coplanar surface on the envelope blank at discrete areas adapted for registered alignment during the fabrication procedure. The opening of the closure flap is effective for rupturing the microcapsules and releasing fragrance.
