One group of women identified their sons as a night soil man, a construction worker and a casual farm labourer respectively. Sabah Hassan, whose son worked in a shop, said the Brotherhood was as alien to them as to the government.
"When will the situation improve? People went out to work and earn a living for their families. I have seven children and God protects me for their sake but what did those people do?," said Sabah Hassan, a witness.
