Abstract:
A daily connection facility is available to the user either through a webpage or by e-mail in the form of a synopsis of connection identifiers between the user and their contacts. The web-based version presents connection information in the form of an agenda view, an engage view, and a reminder view. Each view type is selectable by corresponding tab on the webpage. The daily connected e-mail presents an agenda of meetings and events by location, title, and time. The daily connected e-mail also presents interesting profile and connection information about the attendees such as their communications in blogs and postings, recent communications with user, including messages and meetings, as well as contact information and a list of other contacts in common.

Abstract:
A system, computer-readable storage medium, and computer-implemented method for automatic discovery of how and when people met is provided. In some embodiments, the system obtains a plurality of signals comprising data associated with a user and comprising an electronic communication history between the user and a contact maintained by a contact management system. The system may identify a third party that introduced the user to the contact based on the plurality of signals. The system further determines a suggested entry for the data field of the contact management system is determined. The suggested entry includes a description of how the user initially met the contact and the description includes an identifier of the third party. The suggested entry of how a user met a contact is automatically displayed to a user by the system.

Abstract:
A system and method for automatically targeting online users are provided. A user performs an action that exhibits an interest in a product/service or performing a certain action, such as making a charitable contribution. A user record is created in a user management system, such as a customer relationship management database. The user record is augmented with additional data, such as data from a user profile, of the user, in a social network. Examples of such data include employer information, friend information, academic history, and job title. The augmented user record is provided to a targeted content system that assigns the user to a nurture flow that includes multiple segments, each segment associated with actions to perform relative to the user, such as sending certain content to the user through one or more delivery channels.

Abstract:
A method and system are shown for identifying the most influential members of a social network. The social networking system receives a request to rank a plurality of members of a social networking system based on the influence held by each of the plurality of members. For a respective member in the plurality of members of the social networking system, the social networking system analyzes member interactions of the respective member on the social networking system and generates an influencer score for the respective member based on the analysis of member interactions through the social networking system. The social networking system orders two or more members in the plurality of members of the social networking system based on the influencer scores associated with the two or more members.

In an example embodiment, information about one or more Customer Relationship Management (CRM) entities is received from a CRM system, the information including an identification of each of the one or more CRM entities and usage information about how a user interacted with each of the one or more CRM entities. Then, at a software tool distinct from the CRM system, one or more actionable insights related to the one or more CRM entities are identified. The relevance of the one or more actionable insights to the user is then determined based on the usage information. One or more of the one or more actionable insights are then presented to the user based on the determined relevance via the software tool.

A method and system for providing lead recommendations are disclosed. A server system stores profile information for a plurality of members of a server system. The server system then analyzes the stored profile information to identify one or more potential sales lead recommendations for a first member of the server system. The server system then ranks the one or more identified potential sales lead recommendations. The server system selects one or more of the identified sales lead recommendations and transmits the selected one or more identified sales lead recommendations to a client device associated with the first member of the server system.

A method and system for providing account recommendations is disclosed. A server system stores sales data for a first member, wherein sales data includes profile information for one or more individual customers. The sewer system analyzes the profile information for one or more of the individual customers to identify one attributes associated with the customers. The server system determines one or more additional members with member profiles that include the one or more identified attributes. For a respective additional member in the at least one of the determined additional members the sewer system determines, based on stored information about the respective additional member, an respective organization associated with the at least one determined additional member; and selects the respective organization as an account recommendation.

Abstract:
In an example embodiment, a request to onboard a first user to a sales tool is received. Then usage information related to the first user is retrieved from a social networking service. One or more entities may then be generated in the sales tool based on the usage information from the social networking service. A score can be calculated for each of the one or more entities, the score indicating a likelihood that the first user will wish to receive insights regarding the one or more entities from the sales tool. Then the one or more entities are ranked based on the calculated score for each of the one or more entities. The one or more entities can be added as entries in the sales tool based on the ranking.
