Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a scalable method and system for efficiently correlating large volumes of information resources. In an e-learning system many large and disparate of educational information resources can be combined and accessed quickly and efficiently. The system made very scalable by the use of central database of learning objectives referred to as a set of Master Learning Objectives or MLOs. Each information object and element of each information resource can be correlated to one or more MLOs in order to establish a link or relationship between the information object or element and the MLO. Once an information object or element is linked to an MLO, additional information objects and elements corresponding to the same subject as the first information object or element can be located by searching for all other information objects and elements linked to the same MLO. In addition, the MLOs can be hierarchically arranged in tree structure in order to further facilitate identifying information objects and elements that correspond to a given MLO or subset of MLOs.

Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for estimating an overall wind coherence acting on a wind turbine and using same to dynamically adapt the gain or bandwidth of pitch or torque or yaw control logic within a wind turbine. The method includes generating, via sensors, a plurality of sensor signals reflective of wind conditions near the wind turbine. The method also includes filtering, via at least one filter, the sensor signals at a predetermined frequency range considered damaging for turbine sub-system loading. Thus, the method also includes estimating an overall damaging wind coherence acting on the wind turbine as a function of distance-normalized wind coherences, which themselves are derived from auto and cross-covariances of pairs of filtered signals. The distance normalization uses a model of natural coherence dissipation with distance.

Abstract:
Information associated with session flows between communication devices and servers is collected and shared. A request is generated for data having predefined attributes within session flows occurring between multiple communication devices and a server over a communication network. The request is sent to a controller having access to information indicating network elements within the communication network traversed by the session flows. The controller selects a network element from among the network elements traversed by the session flows and retrieves the data from the selected network element.
