I spent over 25 years developing new construction standards and specifications for the housing market at Public Service Company of Colorado, Florida Power & Light Company and North Carolina's Electric Cooperatives. I worked with the National Association of Home Builders and the Manufactured Housing Research Alliance to establish energy efficient design programs recognized as the precursor for the current Energy Star specifications. This expertise has been put to good use working with home buyers to identify energy efficient building practices and principles. As a new construction specialist, I can assist with design parameters to meet energy efficiency goals while building attractive new homes.
