I also moved my retired in-laws here so we have investigated many things about the retirement community we didn't know.

My husband and I, along with our four kids have been in Middle Tennessee for many years. We have two kids in middle school, one in high school and one in college. We have been blessed to be part of one of the most wonderful communities in all aspects of our lives. Not only is the country beautiful, the water clean and the people nice with that southern flair, kids still have respect and you can still find festivals almost any spring or summer day. This is why we chose to raise our family here. Our kids are involved in all types of athletics and we love to show horses. Our daughter shows on the Mini Prix circuit and our son shows cutting and quarter horses so we we know both worlds. I have a degree in Journalism from University of Maryland (yep, I am a Terp) and was working on my Masters in German Literature until I found my family and kids more exciting. But, I speak it fluently now probablly with my southern twang. I also sing Karaoke and play guitar, all for fun......Don't worry, I don't have aspirations of being a musician! HOW CAN I HELP YOU? This is a question I ask myself daily. I suppose my greatest attribute would be my ability to listen and try to find the prefect home as I would want someone to find for me. My husband has been involved in the investment side of real estate for years. Therefore I have found ways of not only finding the right home but, in determining value. This is a unique economy, we all ought to limit our debt and live within our means, giving us the freedom to better enjoy our lives.
