Abstract:

An image-based verification system integrates with mail finishing equipment, such as an inserter, in much the same way as a postage meter. The verification system registers individual mail pieces as they are processed and dynamically builds a postage summary report to accompany mail when it is sent to the post office for delivery. The verification system is configured with the various weights and associated postage rates required, so variable weight mailings can be processed with only one device per inserter. Postage due is paid using a mailing permit, which is printed on the envelope and may include a date. The verification system provides greater protection for both the mailer and postal authority, as production data is not generated into a report until after mail post-processing as opposed to generating reports based on pre-processing data.

Abstract:

An optimization service is provided for optimizing the run-time performance of a document processing system. The method of optimization includes analyzing an electronic file representing soft copy documents for a plurality of documents to be printed and processed through a document processing system to estimate an expected result of an optimizing operation if the printed documents are processed through the document processing system in accord with the optimizing operation. The estimate of the expected result of the optimizing operation is then presented to the user. If simulated performance information from the service provider regarding expected performance is favorable to the user, the user instructs the service provider to perform the selected optimizing operation. Recommended optimization techniques may be provided to enhance future performance of the document processing system, based on a comparative analysis.

Abstract:

A unit dose detergent product includes a unit dose pouch with a water soluble film, and a liquid detergent encapsulated in the unit dose pouch. The liquid detergent includes a soil release polymer, at least 10% by weight of an alkyl-ether sulfate, an alkoxylated polyamine, less than 30% by weight of water, and, optionally, a polyglycol. A mixture of 2 parts of the liquid detergent composition to 1 part water has a viscosity below 3,000 centipoise.

A system includes: a cart including: four legs; at least one shelf, each shelf attached to each of the legs; the cart having a generally rectangular shape, a width of the cart being longer than a length of the robot, a length of the cart being longer than a length of the robot; four wheels, each wheel attached to a different leg at a bottom of the leg, the wheels configured to roll to facilitate movement of the cart; and a robotic dock, the robotic dock comprising four docking receptacles at ninety degree angles from adjacent docking receptacles; and a robot comprising: a sensor; and a docking module, the docking module comprising retractable docking pins, each retractable docking pin configured, when extended upward, to mate with a corresponding docking receptacle, thereby securing the robot to a bottom shelf of the cart.
