Abstract:
Various embodiments of a computer-implemented method, computer system and computer program product provide a configuration recommendation. Request-processing performance data of an application is received. The request-processing performance data is collected by an application monitor during an execution of the application on a source hardware system. One or more request-processing performance measurements are determined based on the request-processing performance data. One or more target objectives of the application are received. An analytic engine is invoked to provide a configuration recommendation of a target hardware system on which to execute the application based on one or more request-processing performance measurements and one or more target objectives.
Partial-image search criteria are derived that include a combination of multiple partial-image user selections of portions of at least one image. Visual search results are returned responsive to a search for images that correspond to the derived partial-image search criteria. The visual search results include at least one identified image that includes features that correspond to the derived partial-image search criteria that include the combination of the multiple partial-image user selections.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide methods, program products and systems for displaying a corrected time included in the text of an instant message. One or more processors determine that an instant message sent from a first user to a second user includes a first time and a first time zone corresponding to the first time and determine that the first time zone corresponding to the first time does not match a second time zone. The one or more processors convert the first time to a second time, wherein the second time is determined based, at least in part, on the first time, the first time zone, and the second time zone. The one or more processors cause the second time to be displayed to the second user.
Searching And Visualizing Data For A Network Search Based On Relationships Within The Data

Abstract:
In searching data on a network, a data set is retrieved from the network based on a search query. Relationships between data of the retrieved data set are determined and a visualization representing related data of the retrieved data set based on the determined relationships is generated and presented. The data of the retrieved data set is accessed based on a selection of represented data within the visualization.

Abstract:
In a method for identifying and highlighting terms on a web page, loading, by one or more processors, a web page. Receiving, by one or more processors, a search term. Searching, by one or more processors, the loaded web page for the search term. Determining, by one or more processors, that the search term does not exist on the loaded web page. Determining, by one or more processors, that metadata of the loaded web page contains the search term. Rendering, by one or more processors, the web page such that the search term exists on the rendered web page. Highlighting, by one or more processors, the search term on the rendered web page.

Abstract:
A method for surface computing based social interaction is provided. The method includes projecting by a surface computing system disposed in a public space, a multiplicity of different surface computing displays upon respectively different flat surfaces in the public space, each of the different surface computing displays including a single application user interface to a collaborative application executing in the surface computing system. The method also includes concurrently accepting user input through the single application user interface of different ones of the different surface computing displays. The method further includes providing accepted user input from each of the different surface computing displays to the collaborative computing application. Finally, the method includes presenting through all of the different surface computing displays the accepted user input to the collaborative computing application.
