Abstract:

The present invention is directed towards systems and methods for generating bids for one or more keywords and advertisement groups. The method of the present invention comprises generating a data set with one or more entries, a given entry identifying one or more advertising metric values associated with an advertisement group and keyword. One or more keywords are selected from the one or more entries in the data set, and a bid is generated for the one or more selected keywords using the one or more advertising metric values associated with the one or more selected keywords. The one or more advertising metric values of the one or more entries associated with a given advertisement group exclusive of the one or more advertising metric values associated with the one or more selected keywords is aggregated. A bid is generated for the one or more advertisement groups using the one or more aggregated advertising metric values associated with the one or more advertisement groups.

Abstract:

A finger-mounted device may include finger-mounted units. The finger-mounted units may each have a body that serves as a support structure for components such as force sensors, accelerometers, and other sensors and for haptic output devices. The body may have sidewall portions coupled by a portion that rests adjacent to a user's fingernail. The body may be formed from deformable material such as metal or may be formed from adjustable structures such as sliding body portions that are coupled to each other using magnetic attraction, springs, or other structures. The body of each finger-mounted unit may have a U-shaped cross-sectional profile that leaves the finger pad of each finger exposed when the body is coupled to a fingertip of a user's finger. Control circuitry may gather finger press input, lateral finger movement input, and finger tap input using the sensors and may provide haptic output using the haptic output device.

A finger-mounted device may include finger-mounted units. Techniques for implementing and/or operating an electronic device that includes a display panel, which displays an image and includes a first panel section implemented with a lower pixel resolution and a second panel section implemented with a higher pixel resolution, an optical sensor disposed behind the first panel section of the display panel, and image processing circuitry communicatively coupled to the display panel. A system may include one or more processors and a host unit installed in a support structure of a building, the host unit including a communication module configured to send or receive communication data with at least one or more additional host units installed in the building, where the one or more processors are configured to measure an attribute of the sent or received communication data and detect a presence of an object based on a threshold change in the measured attribute of the sent or received communication data between the host unit and the one or more additional host units. The attribute can be an angle-of-signal (AoS) arrival of the communication between the host unit and each of the one or more additional host units, where the threshold change in the measured attribute is a threshold change in the measured AoS arrival.
