Abstract:
A guard assembly for a machine is provided. The guard assembly includes a guard structure and a frame. The frame is attachable to the machine at a machine component. The guard structure is pivotably connected to the frame and movable between a first position and a second position. The frame further includes a magnet structure to releasably couple the frame to the machine component. Furthermore, the frame includes a cap being secured to the magnet structure. The cap includes a skin having at least one side extending beyond the magnet structure and contacting at least a portion of the machine component.
A hinge assembly including a flat plate and a bent plate is provided. The flat plate includes a first slot extending at least partially along a width of the flat plate and disposed substantially perpendicular with respect to a central axis of the flat plate. The bent plate includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The second portion includes a second slot extending at least partially along a width of the bent plate and disposed substantially perpendicular with respect to a central axis of the bent plate. The second slot is adapted to interconnect with respect to the first slot to pivotally move the hinge assembly between an open position and a close position. In the open position, the first portion of the bent plate is adapted to contact a first half section on a first side of the flat plate.

Abstract:
A system for controlling operations of a machine is provided. A first sensor module generates a signal indicative of an operator command and a second sensor module is configured to generate a signal indicative of a current loading ratio associated with a load arm assembly of the machine. A control module is communicably coupled to the first sensor module and the second sensor module to receive a signal indicative of a current operating mode of the machine, and further to receive the signal indicative of the operator command and the signal indicative of the current loading ratio associated with the load arm assembly of the machine. Further, the control module compares the current loading ratio with a pre-determined load rating of the machine, and selectively limits an action associated with the operator command based on the comparison and the current operating mode of the machine.
