Senate panel debates 'Personhood' bill but delays action
The so-called "Constitutional carry" or "open-carry" bill, sponsored by Sen. Shane Martin, a Spartanburg County Republican, would not do away with concealed weapons permits for those who wanted to carry their guns to other states.
"Catholic schools are beginning to market and promote themselves," said Shane Martin, dean of education at Loyola Marymount University. "It's really about getting the word out about this option. People don't know much about it."
"What we formed was the design studio and racing group all got on the same page about what can we do," said Shane Martin, the Nationwide program director for Chevy. "They got a feel for the box they can work in with NASCAR. That really is the biggest thing that made this product a success."
