Meantime, there are 68 infections involving 11 states as of January 23, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The good news according to Alameda County Public Health Department spokeswoman Sherri Willis, is that the 30 babies are not infected.

Disneyland measles outbreak catches many by surprise
"This is the way public health works -- it's all about containment," said Sherri Willis, public information officer for the Alameda County Department of Public Health. The county is shifting employees from other communicable health departments to monitor the measles outbreak, she said.
