Abstract:

A scale or leaf for a berry picking machine and a collector scale assembly including the scale that reduces both the waste of berries and damage to the stalks of berry bushes associated with the use of such machines. A freely rotating disc on the free end of the scale when attached to a rail of the machine is the most distinctive feature of the comma shaped scale.
