Abstract:

A seat assembly for use in supporting an occupant in an automotive vehicle is provided, having a seat frame and a suspension material extending between and operatively secured to the seat frame for supporting the occupant of the seat assembly. A plurality of adjustment assemblies operatively couple the suspension material and the seat frame. Each adjustment assembly includes a stationary bracket secured to the seat frame and an adjustable attachment bracket operatively coupled to the stationary bracket. The suspension material is secured between the adjustable attachment bracket and the stationary bracket. The tension in select portions of the suspension material may be selectively adjusted in response to movement of the adjustable attachment bracket relative to the stationary bracket.

Abstract:

A method of providing a seat back () of a seat assembly including shape defining steps that involve the use of a design manikin (). A contour of the centerline () for the seat back is determined according to a hip point (), or ‘h-point,’and a torso line () of the manikin. The determination includes definition of a lumbar apex reference point () above the hip point along the torso line, a lumbar shape reference circle () defined as being behind the torso line and spaced apart therefrom, a forward lumbar prominence line () which is parallel to the torso line and tangential to the lumbar shape reference circle, and a rearward lumbar prominence () line which is parallel to and rearward of the forward lumbar prominence line.

A system and method are provided for improving product usage prior to refill of product dispensers in service areas that include a plurality of such dispensers. Via a sensor configured with each of the product dispensers and a control system in communication with the sensors, a product level or amount condition of product in each dispenser is detected. Based on the information from the sensors, a visual or audio message is generated and transmitted to the patron that encourages the patron to use a first product dispenser that has a greater product fill amount as compared to a second product dispenser in the same or a different service area.
