Abstract:

A floor scrubbing apparatus that is particularly well suited to scrubbing carpet materials is disclosed. The floor scrubbing apparatus is manually operated and includes a drive roller coupled to a scrub roller. In one embodiment, the drive roller is coupled to the scrub roller using a gear arrangement that causes the scrub roller to rotate faster than the drive roller. If desired, the apparatus can include a cleaning fluid dispensing system. For instance, the apparatus can include one or more nozzles that dispense a cleaning fluid onto a carpet material as the material is being cleaned.

Abstract:

The present invention provides a holder for securing an absorbent article comprising a flexible sheet having less than four pouches designed to secure at least one edge of an outer perimeter of the absorbent article. In one embodiment, there are two pouches substantially parallel to each other and extending transversely across the flexible sheet, the two pouches designed to secure opposing edges of an outer perimeter of the absorbent article. In one embodiment, the absorbent article is a bed pad, chair pad, or the like, made from a liner, absorbent and film. Use of less than four pouches, such as pouch pairs, provides an easy method for keeping absorbent articles in their intended locations, which in turn reduces wrinkles and slippage. As a result, the likelihood of a patient developing bed sores is reduced and the effectiveness of the absorbent article is increased, thus improving patient comfort.

Abstract:

A method of marketing incontinence products is disclosed. The method includes creating a product offering of incontinence products. The product offering includes first, second and third segments that are distinguished from one another by display segmentation elements. The first segment is directed to male incontinence consumers, the second segment is directed to female incontinence consumers, and the third segment is directed to caregivers. The product offering is then communicated to a retailer and a product display is created at a retail site that resembles the product offering. Either simultaneously or sequentially, the product offering is communicated to potential purchasers, using multimedia advertisement, to inform them of the availability of such disposable absorbent incontinence products.
