Abstract:
A packet switch includes an error management module in addition to various components that facilitate routing of data packets through the packet switch. The components generate error codes indicating errors occurring in the packet switch and provide the error codes to the error management module. The error management module select error codes generated by the components and generates an error log based on the selected error codes. Each component is inhibited from providing the same error code to the error management module more than once until the component receives an acknowledgement for that error code from the error management module. A user can access the error log during operation of the packet switch to monitor performance of the packet switch.
Component removal detection may be accomplished by a variety of systems and techniques. In one embodiment, a system for component movement detection may include a payment module, a fuel dispenser, and a movement detection device. The fuel dispenser may receive the payment module and enclose the payment module at a first position defined by a fixed position of the payment module relative to the fuel dispenser. The movement detection device may be communicably coupled to the payment module and may detect a first value at the first position and a second value at a second position of the payment module, where the second position may be different from the first position. Further, the movement detection device may transmit the second value to the payment module, where the payment module may activate a security measure based upon a difference in the first and second values greater than an adjustable absolute limit.
Automatic Pin-Type Door Lock Assembly For Hobby Cars
An automatic pin-type door lock assembly for locking the door of a hobby-type car is disclosed. The door lock assembly includes a mounting frame structure having a locking pin movably mounted therein. An electric actuator is secured to the mounting frame structure and connected to the locking pin and operative to move the locking pin back and forth between a disengaged position and a locked position.
The present invention relates to a vehicle door jamb switch assembly for transmitting electrical current through opposing door jambs that form a part of the vehicle door assembly. The door jamb switch assembly of the present invention includes a first jamb switch assembly that is disposed within one door jamb and includes a series or spaced apart spring loaded conductor pins. A second jamb switch assembly is provided in the opposing door jamb and is provided with a plurality of spaced apart contact plates that are designed to engage with the respective conductor pins of the first switch assembly when the door assembly assumes a closed position.
Manual Pin-Type Locking Assembly For Locking The Door Of A Hobby Or Custom Vehicle
A manually actuated pin-type door locking assembly is shown. The pin-type locking assembly includes a housing having a locking pin confined within a locking cavity and movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. A rotary shaft actuator is rotatably mounted to the housing and is connected to the locking pin via a swing arm. The swing arm is spring biased. By rotating the rotary actuator shaft back and forth, the locking pin is moved between the unlocked position and a locked position where the locking pin effectively locks the door of a vehicle to an adjacent frame structure.
A kit is provided for mounting the opposite sides of a vehicle hood about a releasable hinge pin assembly. This effectively forms a hinge joint along opposites sides of the hood. Each hinge pin assembly includes a retractable hinge pin or pins. This permits one side of the hood to be raised and lowed while the other side is hinged, and vice versa.
