Abstract:

An adjustably slidable windshield assembly for a boat having a window () mounted within channels () in frame members () attached to T-top supports () on a boat. At least one clamp mechanism () proximate each channel is provided which can be used to secure the window at any desired open or closed position. Handles () are provided to assist in raising and lowering the window.

Abstract:

A folding seat assembly to provide easy access to a storage area behind the seat for use particularly in boats or aircraft. The seat assembly allows a seat () to be folded into a seat box () and rides on a pivot pin () within a track aperture (). A lock () is provided to secure the seat within the seat box. An upper handle () on the bottom of the seat frame assist the user in lowering the seat to an open use position. A lower handle () allows the seat box to be lifted upward for access to storage and equipment behind the seat. The seat box is supported in the latter position by at least one lifter () attached to a back of the seat box and a support on the boat or aircraft in which the seat assembly is used.

Abstract:

A system, apparatus and method for providing a walk-on aft deck for a boat, and for providing an extendable swim platform. The walk-on aft deck includes an extended support platform, that may include gunwales, extending from the boat transom between engines of the boat, and extends beyond an aftermost surface of the engines in order to protect the engines from impact. The extendable swim platform extends afterward from the extended support platform, is actuated and retractable, does not act as a running surface when the boat moves forward, but acts as a planing surface when the boat moves in reverse allowing high reverse speeds. The extendable swim platform includes angled anti-slap surfaces underneath. The invention allows users to fish or walk afterward between and beyond the engines; allows greater reverse speeds; and allows users to enter and exit the after swim platform well away from the engine propellers.

Abstract:

In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, the improved secondary navigation station of the invention comprises a horizontal surface which is suspended above the watercraft by a structural system usually comprised of aluminum tubing or equivalent, which horizontal surface may further comprise a navigation station, a seat structure, and a horizontally sliding cover, which, when it is closed position, operates in concert with said horizontal surface to create a solid weatherproof surface, but when open, allows the user or operator of the watercraft to mount a series of steps such that the user or operator of the watercraft is able to navigate the craft from an elevated position from a standing, leaning, or sitting position. The invention allows for an elevated navigation station and elevated positioning for sighting use for fishing and navigation while maintaining a low center of gravity of the watercraft.
