Abstract:
A wrist-mount blood pressure monitor includes a housing having an anterior leg and a posterior leg rigidly connected together. The anterior leg is opposed and spaced a distance from the posterior leg so that a wrist is allowed to fit in the space between the legs. An inflatable bladder is positioned within the anterior leg of the housing for pressurizing an artery within the wrist. At least one stiffening member can be enclosed within the housing for assuring limited transverse movement between the anterior and posterior legs during pressurization of bladder. A blood pressure monitoring unit is operablely connected to the bladder for sensing and calculating blood pressure. A display unit is also provided for displaying blood pressure measurement.

Combined Coaxial And Bimanual Irrigation/Aspiration Apparatus
In one exemplary aspect, the present disclosure is directed to an assembly having an irrigation hand piece that includes an irrigation needle extending from a distal end. The irrigation needle is also configured to release a first fluid. The assembly further has an aspiration hand piece that includes an aspiration needle extending from a distal end. The aspiration needle has an axis and is configured to aspirate a second fluid into the assembly. The assembly has a first configuration in which the irrigation hand piece and aspiration hand piece are coupled together in a manner that causes the released first fluid from the assembly to flow coaxially about the axis of the aspiration needle and a second configuration in which the irrigation hand piece and aspiration hand piece are uncoupled which causes the released first fluid to flow substantially non-coaxial with respect to the axis of the aspiration needle.

Abstract:
A hand piece having an irrigation portion and an aspiration portion that are releasably coupled is disclosed. In an assembled configuration, the irrigation portion and the aspiration portion are coupled such that the hand piece may be manipulable by a user as a single unit. In a separated configuration, the irrigation portion and the aspiration portion may be utilized separate from each other. The irrigation portion and the aspiration portion may be freely moved between the assembled configuration and the separated configuration.
A toy glider is shown having a unitary wing formed of closed cell resin material disposed in a slot formed in a fuselage in which a weight is located to place the center of gravity of the glider at a point which, along with selected flexibility of the wing, produces a cyclical up and down flapping type of movement of the wings when placed in flight above a threshold velocity. The glider has no horizontal stabilizer and the fuselage has a force-receiving surface adapted to accommodate the distal portion of a person's finger.
