About:

My BIO Steve Cocalides was born in Athens, Greece. He immigrated to the United States in 1959 and became a citizen of his new homeland soon after. He attended college in Los Angeles, CA, and worked in the aerospace industry at Marshal-Gordon, a division of Martin-Marietta, as a quality Control Manager. In 1969, he founded the first of a series of manufacturing companies, with operations In Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia. He found Miami to be a natural trade hub, and relocated his family there in 1974. He’s been in love with Florida ever since. Steve retired to Port St. Lucie in 1989, but grew restless and soon found himself brokering land to the builders and venture in the construction of new homes in the Hobe Sound near Stuart. This was Southeast Florida coast’s “last frontier” of affordable waterfront properties. As the economy of the 1990’s boomed, available property evaporated overnight. His latest search has brought him to here, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, and North Port. His latest discovery may well be the last “Fisherman’s Paradise”, worthy of dropping anchor for ever!
