Abstract:

A system, computer program product and method for playing casino games in a remote location. Input from a user of a terminal selecting a casino game to be played on the terminal may be received. The selected casino game may then be displayed on the terminal. Input from the user of the terminal selecting a play in the displayed casino game may be further received. A table may be searched to determine an action the user of the terminal selected to be performed in the casino game using the input from the user. The action to be performed in the casino game may then be transmitted to a processor of a gaming device. A next screen to be displayed to the user after the user's selected action is performed may be received from the gaming device. This next screen may be transmitted to the terminal to be displayed to the user.

Abstract:

A gaming system utilizes watermarks in files to provide file authentication. In one embodiment, the files contain images or video clips. Selected frames of such images or video clips contain a watermark, which is compared to a key stored in the gaming system. The key may be stored in a non-volatile random access memory in the gaming system. In one embodiment, the memory is not modifiable by a customer.

Systems and methods embed watermark data into downloadable software components. The watermarks may be used to indicate who created or who owns the software components. In addition, a watermark may be inserted to indicate certain transactions have taken place with respect to the software component. For example, a transactional watermark may be embedded when a software component is downloaded from one system to another. Abstract:

An interactive system allows gambling in hotel rooms (or other remote locations that are part of a cable TV system) using a Video On Demand (VOD) system interfaced with circuit boards used to operated a corresponding plurality video gaming machines, including video slots and video card games. Player checking in as well as checking out processes are facilitated through the VOD system which is operated as a hub or a portal. Existing VOD system cabling to the hotel room can be used to connect up the gaming machines circuit boards to the VOD system, thereby allowing play any place in the hospitality environment where such cabling is in communication with responding TV sets.

Abstract:

Methods and apparatus for authenticating content in wagering game machines are described herein. In one embodiment, the computer-implemented method includes authenticating a first set of wagering game files stored on a storage device of a wagering game machine. The method can also include starting a wagering game on the wagering game machine if the authentication of the first set of wagering game files is successful. The method can also include authenticating, during the wagering game, a second set of wagering game files stored on the storage device of the wagering game machine, wherein the first set of wagering game files and the second set of wagering game files are mutually exclusive. The method can also include stopping the wagering game if the authentication of the second set of wagering game files is not successful.

Abstract:

The specification sets forth a mouthpiece for use with a snorkel or regulator of the type used in diving and life support systems. The mouthpiece is attached to a snorkel or regulator by a conduit and terminates in a lip flange for seating within the upper and lower lips. Extending between the lip flange is an upper palate web that conforms to the palate area of a user's mouth. Within the palate web is an opening toward the frontal area for receipt of a user's front teeth. The mouthpiece incorporates a lower web that extends along the inner jaw region overlying the inner portion of a user's lower teeth. The lower web can be split in its conformation with a gap therebetween formed by two tabs that are rounded at their ends. The entire mouthpiece conforms and holds the snorkel or regulator in a user's mouth in a facile manner without the requirement of excessive biting and eliminates prior art lugs or bits.
