Abstract:

A flow switch for a high pressure washing system or other flow-related system is disclosed. The flow switch switches from an open to a closed position in the presence of adequate flow in a water or other fluid-carrying pipe. The flow switch includes a housing with a tubular bore, an inlet port and an outlet port which allow fluid to flow through the housing. Within the housing is a plunger with an attached plunger magnet. The plunger is responsive to fluid flow. A sensor is situated proximate to the housing. A sensor magnet is placed in position near the sensor and opposes the plunger magnet. A third magnet (the alignment magnet) is placed proximate to the housing. When there is no flow within the housing, the plunger is at its rest position as the alignment magnet attracts the plunger magnet to correctly align and position the plunger within the housing. When a threshold rate of flow is present, the force from the flow overcomes the attractive force of the alignment and plunger magnets and the plunger is moved to its secondary position. In this position, the plunger magnet trips the sensor when it repels the sensor magnet.

Abstract:

An apparatus and method for transferring data among clients of a time division multiplexed network is provided. In one aspect of the preset invention the apparatus includes clock circuits that allow for a variable number of time slots and a variable bus cycle of the network. In another aspect of the present invention a network interface module includes an indirection register that contains relationships between memory storage locations and channels of a time domain multiplexed network. In yet another aspect of the present invention, a network interface module is provided that comprises a memory, and first and second registers. In one mode of operation of the network interface module, data from the memory for a client is pre-fetched from the memory, prior to the start of a bus cycle and is stored in the registers to minimize memory access delays in the system.

A system for recording, editing, processing and playing digital audio in a real-time, non-linear, non-destructive fashion. The system comprises a collection of the following modules: a disk controller for reading and writing disk-based media: an I/O processor for moving data between the disk controllers, I/O devices and connection bus, a DSP processor for processing data that exists on the connection bus, and a sample playback processor for performing memory-based polyphonic digital playback attached to the connection bus. Abstract:

A time division multiplexing ("TDM") digital matrix intercom system for connecting intercom stations. The system includes a digital switching system receiving audio input communications signals from at least some of the intercom stations, and sending audio input communications signals to at least some of the intercom stations. The digital switching system includes a TDM system for broadcasting on a TDM bus multiple digital communications signals including such digital audio input signals. The TDM system includes one or more interfaces connecting intercom stations with the TDM bus. The system also includes a signal mixer which is capable of receiving from the TDM bus selected ones of the digital audio input signals, and creating and broadcasting on the TDM bus a custom mixed digital audio output communications signal which is a loudness weighted mix of such selected digital audio input signals with at least one of such selected signals optionally being given a larger weight corresponding to a louder volume than others of the selected signals. A custom mixed digital audio output signal thus may be routed to a selected one of the intercom stations as an audio output communications signal. Preferably the system includes an integrated circuit for producing custom output mix signals.

Abstract:

A heating element for a vaporizer cartridge is provided. The vaporizer cartridge may include a reservoir containing vaporizable material and a wicking element in fluid communication with the reservoir. The heating element may include a heating portion, a cartridge contact, and a leg. The heating portion includes at least two tines spaced apart from one another. The cartridge contact may be in in electrical communication with a power source. The leg extends between the heating portion and the cartridge contact. The heating portion may be crimped around the wicking element such that the heating portion secures the wicking element to the heating element and contacts at least two surfaces of the wicking element.
