Biasi passed away in June 1963 at the age of 71, the business remained an ongoing concern as Biasis Drug Stores, Inc. In 1973, pharmacists John L. "Jack" Ingold and Steven Richter purchased the drug store, though Ingold, who had worked there full-time since 1958, would become the sole owner.

One of narrative features accepted this year is "Birds of Neptune," written by Steven Richter and his wife Flavia Rocha, Portland residents until a recent move to Brooklyn, and directed by Richter. The movie was shot in a house used by the band Harlowe and the Great North Woods that's near Southeast
