Abstract:

Invention for pattern recognition and artificial intelligence comprising:1) storing data in parallel by applying a logic level (1) input or a logic level (0) input to one input of each of at least two exclusive-nor logic gates;2) comparing data in parallel by applying a logic level (1) input or a logic level (0) input to the other input of each of the exclusive-nor gates, wherein each exclusive-nor gate produces a logic level (1) output when both inputs have the same datum input, and each exclusive-nor gate produces a logic level (0) output when both inputs have different datum input; and3) measuring the outputs of the exclusive-nor logic circuits collectively with a measuring apparatus, wherein the percentage of the pattern input for comparison which matches the pattern of data stored in the exclusive-nor gates is directly proportional to the magnitude of the collective output of the exclusive-nor gates.

Abstract:

Invention for efficiently transmitting energy to a target for producing an overall effective result for applications comprising power transmission and communications. Wherein, first, a source of electromagnetically intense coherent radiation and interferometric apparatus produce a beam of electromagnetically neutralized radiation. The neutralized beam comprises forward propagating photons or forward propagating electrically charged particles which comprise associated forward traveling transverse waves which superimpose and destructively interfere to an extent, and comprise associated oscillatorily time-varying electromagnetic fields which cancel to a corresponding extent. Then, second, the electromagnetically neutralized beam is coherently transmitted through transmission apparatus to a target. Wherein, the adverse electromagnetic interaction of the neutralized beam with electrically charged particles comprised in the transmission apparatus, and the adverse electromagnetic effects of transmitting energy are eliminated in direct proportion to the destructive interference in, and the respective intensity eliminated from, the neutralized beam during transmission.

Abstract:

An energy absorbing device for the steering column of an automotive vehicle comprises a pair of generally U-shaped straps made of relatively stiff, bendable, flexible strip material. One leg of each strap is connected to a bracket affixed to vehicle support structure. The other leg is connected to the steering column. In a collision, the straps resist movement of the steering column and gradually absorb energy to prevent excessive reaction forces of the steering column against the driver. A connection between the steering column and the bracket prevents vibration of the steering column during normal operation of the vehicle. This connection is releasable in response to initial vehicle impact to allow controlled movement of the steering column under the restraining influence of the straps.
