Abstract:

A quick assembly grill that may be assembled in a few minutes by a user, without the use of tools. The grill includes a leg assembly that snaps onto a base for the grill and side posts that attach to the leg assembly for supporting side tables for the grill. The side posts may attach by bolts and wing nuts, and thus do not require tools for assembly. In addition, the leg assembly snaps onto the base, and the side tables snap onto the side posts, and also do not require tools for assembly. A quick connect gas control for a burner is included on one of the side tables. The quick connect controller inserts into a hole in the side table, and is rotated to lock the control into place.

Abstract:

A gas-fired barbecue grill, comprising: a grill body integrally formed with at least one side element selected from the group comprising a side table and a base member of a side burner. In another embodiment, the grill comprises a grill body and first and second side elements selected from the group comprising a side table and a base member of a side burner, wherein a first piece of the grill comprises a first portion of the grill body integrally formed with the first side element, and a second piece of the grill comprises a second portion of the grill body integrally formed with the second side element, and further wherein the first and second pieces of the grill are secured together. In yet another embodiment, the grill comprises a grill body and first and second side elements selected from the group comprising a side table and a base member of a side burner, wherein the side elements are attached directly to the grill body.

Abstract:

A gas burner, specifically a gas burner for cooking grills. The burner comprises and elongated conduit member having an upper portion of a generally inverted V-shape, a lower portion defining burner ports angled such that the flame caused by burning gases escaping from the burner port does not impinge upon the lower portion. The cross-section of the elongated conduit member burner provides an increased volumetric flow rate which does not require gas pressure equalization means to provide uniform heat generation across the length of the burner.

A gas tank retainer for a barbecue grill. The retainer allows the gas tank to be positioned in a recessed relationship with respect to the lower shelf of the grill. The lower shelf is spaced a predetermined distance from the underside of the grill, such that the gas tank cannot be stored vertically beneath the grill, creating a potential fire hazard, rather must be stored in the recessed portion designed for holding the tank.
