I enjoy a challenge and figuring out how to make something out of nothing and knowing anything left over has a purpose. Nothing has to be held back by a budget; no matter what that budget may be down to the smallest details. I am currently working full time in the higher education field and previously owned a retail scrapbooking business of 10 years after selling it, I found myself longing and needing a creative outlet and a place to share my ideas. I started blogging and I have found it too be just “what the doctor” ordered. It has not only helped me with the sadness of having to sell my dream and what I loved doing for 10 years, but has given me a place to share and connect with others that have the same passions. I am very passionate for do-it-yourself décor, home projects, staging, planning events, paper crafts, sewing, baking and all things that keeps my creative mind going. With a “I want to do it all” attitude, I believe all things are possible, if you set your mind to it and of course with our Lord and Savior, himself! I remember when I first started this blog, I was thinking I wish I could do this full-time and somehow make money doing it, not knowing that it could possibly happen someday…there is nothing like doing what you love and getting paid for it. I know it happened once. How One More Time got its name: As, I mentioned I owned a scrapbooking business, the name of the business was Once Upon A Time… and because of the sadness of having to sell it, I never thought I would ever have the desire to be creative again, but after I got thru some tough times the longing to be creative again, the juices started flowing and came back “ONE MORE TIME” Event Planning: One more time…to Celebrate DIY: One More Time…to repurpose, Home: One More Time…to Redecorate, Remodel Staging: One More Time… to look at something in a different way and make it positive Life: One More Time…to do what you love.
