Microbiological techniques: Experience in Yeast culture isolation, identification and maintenance. Microscopic study of yeast using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Atomic force microscope (AFM). Column chromatography: Protein purification by gel exclusion chromatography (Sephadex G-100), ion exchange chromatography (DEAE-cellulose) and RP-HPLC (C18 column). Eletrophoresis: SDS-PAGE. Immunological techniques: Production of polyclonal antibodies in hens, ammonium sulphate precipitation, antibody tagging with HRP and nanogold (gold nanoparticles). Oucterlony double diffusion, dot-blot and ELISA. Molecular biology techniques: Isolation of Plasmid DNA by alkaline lysis and Qiagen miniprep kit, gene cloning and heterologous gene expression sequencing PCR, transformation of yeast cells using Lithium acetate method and transformation in E.coli using competent cells. Spectrometry and Spectroscopy techniques: UV-Vis spectrometry, Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS for metal content estimation), and Fourier transformed infra red (FTIR).
