Abstract:

A table assembly structured for selective positioning between a conventional table orientation and a gaming orientation which facilitates the playing of the game of billiards thereon. A plurality of side rails are connected to an under portion of a table top of the table assembly and movable between a stored position and an operative position which respectively define the conventional and gaming orientations. When in the stored position, the plurality of side rails are disposed in a primarily hidden location in order to enhance the tables appearance. A positioning assembly includes a plurality of linkage structures movably supporting the plurality of side rails along a complex path of travel as the plurality of side rails move between the stored and operative positions.

Abstract:

A fan blade has a three dimensional shape that resembles a leaf. The blade is made of balsa or other suitable wood with the grain of the wood running along its length. The obverse surface of the blade is contoured and has a central vein and lateral veins running from the central vein to opposite edges. The reverse side has one or more channels. Braces are set in the channels. The braces are also made of balsa or comparable wood and their grain runs transverse to the direction of the gain of the blade.

Abstract:

The conventional fan blade is replaced by a frame over which any of a wide range of decorative fabrics or other similar materials is drawn and secured by a clamping method to form a lightweight fan blade of any surface design desired by the user. The decorative fabric replaces the heavy fan blade while still providing its function of air circulation. The same decorative fabrics or other similar materials are also used as coverings or trim for the body of the fan motor housing. The fan blade frame may take any shape suitable for causing the circulation of air as by a conventional fan blade. Elimination of the fan blade mass of conventional designs makes possible significant reductions in power consumption, and significant reductions in stress, wear, and tear on the fan's ceiling mountings.
