A device for flexing a person's knee joint is described. The device contains a seat harness, an element for grasping the foot of a user, line cord, and an element for connecting the seat harness to the line cord. Movement of the line cord by the user causes movement of the foot grasping element.
An apparatus for stretching a joint of the human body (such as a knee joint) is disclosed. This apparatus contains an extension harness, a line cord, a first guide for the line cord which preferably is attached to the harness (such as grommets in the harness or pulley blocks attached to the harness), a second guide for the line cord (such as a pulley system, or an eye hook), and an anchor. When the harness secured around a patient's knee and attached to an anchoring surface, movement of the line cord causes movement of the harness.
An apparatus for flexing a foot of a human body, comprising means for grasping a foot, a first female buckle assembly, a second female buckle assembly, line cord, and ten separate means for guiding the line cord is disclosed. This apparatus allows a patient to rehabilitate an injured foot.
A pool for supporting a table and chairs within a volume of water. The inventive device includes a bottom panel having a perimeter sidewall projecting upwardly therefrom. A central sidewall is concentrically positioned relative to the perimeter sidewall and projects from the bottom wall and about a central aperture directed therethrough. An anchor is positioned within the central wall for receiving an umbrella post to permit central positioning of a table and radially spaced positioning of chairs within the pool.
An apparatus for flexing a knee capsule of a human body which contains a device for grasping a foot, a thigh strap, a first line cord, and a second line cord, a handle, and eight separate guides for guiding line cord is disclosed. This device may readily be used by a patient to rehabilitate a damaged knee capsule.
