    An actuator cap for a pressurized aerosol spray can for the dispensing of marking compositions consists of an outer housing, an inner housing, and a rotatably mounted spray tip. The outer housing employs an annular chime for use with devices for remotely actuating pressurized aerosol spray cans. The inner housing connectively couples to various pressurized aerosol spray cans. The spray tip allows for efficient dispensing of marking composition through the pressurized aerosol spray can valve while also preventing accidental sideways discharge.

    An aerosol spray can agitator consists of a device for discharging the contents of an aerosol spray can onto a surface, wherein the device is capable of holding and agitating a spare aerosol spray can. A first aerosol spray can holder is disposed on a housing. An actuator mounted on the first aerosol spray can moves between discharging and non-discharging positions. The device further including a trigger actuator displaced from the aerosol spray can actuator capable of moving the aerosol spray can actuator between the discharging and non-discharging positions, which allows an operator to discharge the contents of the aerosol spray can onto a surface. The device also has at least one rotatable wheel disposed on the housing which rotates as the device is moved relative to the surface and a second spray can holder disposed on the wheel for holding a second aerosol spray can. The second spray can holder is adapted to hold spray cans with various types of bottom rim configurations.

    A fence bracket for mounting adjacent fence rails in fixed relation on a fence post includes first and second fingers extending around a portion of the fence post and each having a hooked portion which is disposed over and engages the flange of the post wherein at least one of the fingers is engageable with one of a series of protrusions on a face of the post to limit movement of the bracket thereon. Means are also provided between the first and second fingers for supporting overlapping ends of adjacent rails whereby a fastener may be driven through the overlapping ends to secure the rails in fixed relation on the post. The bracket may be installed from the side of the post and hence does not require the prior removal of other fencing apparatus supported by the post.

    A two-part system and method for increasing the reflex-reflectivity of a substrate is disclosed wherein a first aerosol dispensing means containing a first coating composition capable of forming a base coating on a substrate and a second aerosol dispensing means containing a second coating composition capable of imparting reflex-reflectivity to the base coating is employed. The first coating composition comprises a binder resin and a solvent in which the binder resin is dissolved and the second coating composition contains transparent microspheres having a particle size from about 45 to about 90 microns and a carrier in which the transparent microspheres are dispersible. The substrate is coated first with the first coating composition via aerosol means to form a base coating which is subsequently coated with the second coating to impart reflex-reflectivity to the base coating.

    The present invention provides a device and method for propelling liquids to long distances. The invention is especially useful for marking animals such as sheep for identification purposes. The device itself comprises a container, liquid residing within said container, gas propellant residing within said container, means comprising an inlet and an outlet for controlling the discharge of said liquid from said container, said means being biased in a closed position and being movable to an open position in response to external pressure thereto, wherein the inlet of said means is in communication with said container, and a tube through which said liquid exits said device in communication with the outlet of said discharge means, said tube extending outwardly from said outlet, wherein the combination of said discharge means, said tube, and said propellant are adapted for discharging said liquid as a liquid stream to a distance of from about ten to about twenty-five feet when said discharge means is moved into the open position. The discharged liquid used in the device and method is also nonflammable according to CSMA and Consumer Product Safety Commission standards.
