Abstract:

The invention relates to a method for the control of fungi at a locus which comprises applying to the locus a fungicidally effective amount of an isoxazole derivative of formula (I), wherein R is hydrogen or --CO. sub. 2 R. sup. 3, wherein R. sup. 3 is as defined below, R. sup. 1 is cyclopropyl; R. sup. 2 is selected from halogen, --S(O). sub. p R. sup. 4 and C. sub. 1-4 alkyl or haloalkyl; n is two or three; p is zero, one or two; R. sup. 3 is C. sub. 1-4 alkyl and R. sup. 4 is C. sub. 1-4 alkyl; and to compositions containing the same. ##STR1##.
