Abstract:

A Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system comprises a user interface, a processing system, and a machine interface. The user interface displays a multi-state enable option graphic selectable by a first touch from a user, that, when the first touch is maintained, enables a multi-state mode of a state option graphic having a plurality of modes comprising a single-state mode and the multi-state mode, displays the state option graphic selectable by a second touch from the user, and receives the second touch from the user selecting the state option graphic. If the state option graphic is in the multi-state mode when selected, the processing system processes the second touch to select a state option from a plurality of state options corresponding to a plurality of operation states of a machine. If the state option graphic is in the single-state mode when selected, the processing system processes the second touch to select the state option from a single state option corresponding to a single operation state of the machine. The machine interface transfers a control instruction to operate the machine in an operation state corresponding to the state option.

The present disclosure relates to leveraging explainable machine learning methods and feature importance mechanisms as a mechanism for gene discovery and furthermore leveraging the outputs of the gene discovery to recommend ideal gene expression profiles and the requisite genome edits that are conducive to a desired phenotype. Particularly, aspects of the present disclosure are directed to obtaining gene expression profiles for a set of genes measured in a tissue sample of a plant, inputting the gene expression profiles into a prediction model constructed for a task of predicting a phenotype as output data, generating, using the prediction model, the prediction of the phenotype for the plant, analyzing, by an explainable artificial intelligence system, decisions made by the prediction model to predict the phenotype, and identifying a set of candidate gene targets for the phenotype as having a largest contribution or influence on the prediction based on the analyzing.

According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, an ordered stream of normalized vectors corresponding to information security data obtained from one or more sensors monitoring a computer network is received. A neuro-linguistic model of the information security data is generated by clustering the ordered stream of vectors and assigning a letter to each cluster, outputting an ordered sequence of letters based on a mapping of the ordered stream of normalized vectors to the clusters, building a dictionary of words from of the ordered output of letters, outputting an ordered stream of words based on the ordered output of letters, and generating a plurality of phrases based on the ordered output of words.
