Start Up Atlanta Innovation Contest Startup Atlanta - The Atlanta Development Authority Our firm won a competition as one of the most entrepreneurial and innovation-minded small businesses in Atlanta, GA from the Atlanta Development Authority (Invest Atlanta). The prize winnings for this competition gave TOHL an extra $10,000 USD to further our innovation in R&D for our mobile infrastructure technology. Global Polymer Innovation Award Winner Rubber and Plastics Research Association My application of our patent-pending infrastructure technology secured us a second-place prize in the RAPRA Global Polymer Innovation competition. This award is bestowed upon teams whose technology demonstrates excellence in: materials selection, reverse engineering, analysis of materials/samples, testing to approved national or international standards, and defect and failure diagnosis. Start-Up Chile CORFO; Government of Chile TOHL was admitted to the third round of Start-Up Chile (SUP), a program of the Government of Chile designed at attracting start-ups that look to bootleg their business in Chile. SUP financing was made available to our firm at $40,000 USD (approx.), and we used this in the developmental stages of our product design and testing. Common Pitch Chile Common Under the leadership of Ben Cohen and Paz Bascuñán, TOHL won $35,000 USD in a Chilean-based pitch competition. Our venture beat out 408 other firms, making it to the first place position of the final round of the competition. Dell Social Innovation Challenge Dell; RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service TOHL received an award for our social innovation within the "water" sector of the Dell Social Innovation Challenge. In addition to $1,000 USD in prize funding, we received additional mentorship and product development assistance.
