Abstract:

A method and apparatus is directed towards managing fail-over in a network. At least one back-up device is configured to process traffic if a fail-over condition occurs. The back-up device includes a physical interface. A logical interface X associated with the physical interface is monitored to determine if the fail-over condition has occurred. If it is determined that the fail-over condition has occurred on interface X, then the back-up device processes traffic for another logical interface Y, associated with the physical interface. Accordingly, logical interface Y may be unmonitored. According to one embodiment, if it is determined that the fail-over condition has occurred, the back-up device processes traffic for every logical interface associated with the physical interface.

Selective passive address resolution protocol (ARP) learning can provide a passive mechanism to synchronize link layer adjacency information among network elements. Selective passive ARP learning can be implemented by a modification to the ARP requests processing of the standby node, with a filter list containing a set of match rules for target network addresses. Abstract:

A method and apparatus for increasing the resolution and accuracy of flow measurements made by vortex flowmeters. A signal conditioning circuit connected to a vortex sensor generates a vortex signal having a period that varies with the frequency of the vortex street. The period of this vortex signal is measured by a period sampling circuit, which generates a vortex period signal. When a programmable control circuit determines that the change in the frequency indicated by successive values of the vortex period signal is relatively small, the displayed flow value is based on the current frequency of the vortex signal; when the change in frequency indicated by successive values of the vortex period signal is relatively large, the displayed flow value is based on the running average frequency of the vortex signal.

Abstract:

The present application provides a sensor, relates to sensing technology field, the sensor includes a sensor body, a main circuit module disposed in the sensor body and an sensing assembly electrically connect to the main circuit module, and further includes a circuit protection module disposed at outside of the sensor body and electrically connected to the main circuit module.
