Abstract:
The present development relates to a liquid cleansing product that effectively reduces the level of microbes on the skin in a relatively short wash time and which dries quickly without causing damage and drying to the skin. The sanitizing cleanser composition comprising an effective amount of organic alcohol to produce a reduction in microorganisms on the surface of the skin, and an additive to maintain the skin pH in the range of from about 4. 0 to about 6. The cleanser composition may further include silicone to aid further the drying process, and emollients or oils for skin moisturizing.

Abstract:
An inexpensive and easy to use orthopedic splint made from a plurality of plastic ribs held together on a fabric sheath. The plurality of ribs is affixed to the sheath by adhesive or similar means at equal intervals across one surface of the sheath. The sheath can be designed to fit about a particular body section or it can be a generic rectangular unit. The ribs may be designed with perforations or other such similar weak areas so that the length of the splint may be shortened by breaking off and removing ends of the rib. Alternatively, the ribs may already have partitions so that breaking or cutting the ribs is not required. The ribs have apertures through which a cable tie or similar fastener is passed in order to secure the splint snugly to the injured appendage.

Abstract:
A tying system that quickly and easily secures together ends of ropes, straps or cords is provided. The tying system has a base member and two holding members attached to different sides of the base member by first and second hinges. The tying system has opposing retention surfaces positioned on the base or holding members so that when the holding members are folded back onto each other as permitted by the hinges, two retention regions are created that tightly grip and hold the rope, strap or cord in place. The tying system is adaptable for many different sizes and dimensions of ropes, straps or cords and may be designed to grip and hold permanently or releasably.

Abstract:
A pressure relief pad for use by persons suffering from or subject to the formation of decubitus ulcers or bedsores is described. The pressure relief pad is made from viscoelastic foam layers which provide for the redistribution of pressure around an affected or wounded area allowing the wound to heal faster. The contoured viscoelastic foam pad can be positioned over a separately applied dressing or an exudate absorbing material can be included in the pad. The contouring for the pad may be achieved by molding the foam as desired or by using a multiplicity of foam layers joined by adhesive to form the pad.

Abstract:
The present invention is composite material bakeware having a non-stick surface and which is stable at temperatures up to about 450 F. The bakeware is scratch resistant, when used for baking it delivers essentially the same level of browning as metal or ceramic materials, and it is recyclable.
Substantially Anhydrous Compositions For Personal Care
Moisturizers are mixtures of chemicals specifically designed to make the external layers of the skin (epidermis) softer and more pliable, by increasing its hydration (water) content and reducing evaporation. Loss of moisture in the stratum corneum causes dry skin and compromises its barrier function. Therefore, maintaining the hydration level of this layer is essential for healthy skin. For individuals who wash hands frequently or have dry skin (e.g. due to age or diabetes) using a moisturizer may be important. The personal care composition described herein provides a moisturizing system that does not have a negative effect on skin such as that which can be attributed to surfactants.

Abstract:
A lotion application device includes a protective shell, a rotatable plate that mounts onto the shell, and a sponge secured to the plate. The sponge can be exposed and used to apply lotions to the skin, or the sponge can be concealed so the device can be transported without risk of contamination or damage to the sponge.
