Walter L. Sharpe III (born July 16, 1986 (1986-07-16)) is an American professional basketball player for the New Mexico Thunderbirds of the NBA D-League.
first-team selection to the Class 6A all-state team and was chosen to play in the Alabama-Mississippi game. He and Steele combined for 54 points in the state championship, scoring 27 apiece in a victory against Parker. The Herd's roster featured Walter Sharpe, who would also go on to play in the NBA.
