Abstract:

There is provided a bellows adapted to be actuated by the movement of a wearers body and force air into a personal care product in a region between the skin of the wearer and the product. The bellows may be located in the periphery of the personal care product and the discharge of the bellows is directed into the personal care product so air is forced into the product.

Abstract:

An absorbent article and method are disclosed for providing side leakage protection for an undergarment and absorbent article positioning guidance for proper placement on the undergarment. In one embodiment, an absorbent cuff pad is configured to fit the pudendal region of a woman with cuffs for receiving a crotch portion of an undergarment. In one embodiment, an absorbent pad and liquid-impermeable baffle are provided with stiffening means for a pair of garment-attachment nesting ridges for receiving an loans arcuately shaped crotch portion of an undergarment. In one embodiment, an absorbent configured to fit the pudendal region of a woman, a liquid-impermeable baffle, and stiffening means for multiple pairs of garment-attachment nesting ridges receive and protect an arcuately shaped crotch portion of an undergarment. Arcuately shaped pleats on a bottom lateral side surface of the absorbent article form the nesting ridges. In one embodiment, a pressure sensitive adhesive provides force to support the cuffs or the nesting ridges holding the undergarment in place during use.

An absorbent configured to fit the pudendal region of a woman and a liquid-impermeable baffle are provided with a pair of garment-attachment adjustable scroll members for receiving a crotch portion of an undergarment. In one aspect, arcuately shaped curled folds on a lateral side surface of the absorbent article form the adjustable scroll members. In one aspect, a stiffening insert in the adjustable scroll member provide superior curling and holding capability. In one aspect, a friction-enhancing material reduces the sliding of the panty elastic or fabric in the adjustable scroll, thereby to reduce twisting and shifting of the undergarment.

Abstract:

A disposal bag for disposal of sanitary products adapted for use with a bin of a sanitary disposal unit is provided. The bag comprises an inner surface, an outer surface and an edge providing an opening into the bag. The bag includes a frame having at least a pair of spaced-apart sidewalls having foldable portions positioned thereon which permit the frame to fold together. The frame is configured to be positioned adjacent an upper edge of a bin. The edge of the bag is coupled to the frame. The frame is configured to hold the bag in an opened position such that the bag and frame cooperate to prevent sanitary products from falling between the bag and a sidewall of the bin. When the frame is removed from the bin when the bag is filled, the frame is configured to fold together to seal to itself to provide a closure for the bag.
