Abstract:

A magnetic dual glasses window structure includes a window blind, provided between two panes of glass, including tilt cords for supporting a plurality of slats and an operating system which includes a shaft attached to the tilt cords and a magnetic actuating device. The magnetic actuating device includes an actuating cord movably and encirclingly attaching to two end portions of the shaft, a pair of resilient elements attached to the actuating cord respectively for applying an urging force against the actuating cord, a magnetic seat connecting between the two resilient elements and positioned adjacent an inner surface of one of the panes of glass, and a magnetic slider positioned adjacent an outer surface of the pane of glass for magnetically driving the magnetic seat to move. Therefore, by sliding the magnetic slider, the actuating cord drives the shaft to rotate for controlling the tilt angle of each of the slats.

Abstract:

A manufacturing process of a construction strip includes the steps of (a) evenly mixing a predetermined amount of paint, talcum powder and volatile agent to form a plaster form coating mixture; (b) gradually passing an elongated strip body through an extrusion passage of an extrusion mold, wherein a uniform surrounding clearance between an interior wall of said extrusion passage and said strip body; (c) continuously injecting said coating mixture into said extrusion passage of said extrusion mold in order to fill said surrounding clearance, so that a uniform protective coating is evenly coated on said longitudinal surfaces of said strip body while said strip body is extruded from said extrusion mold; and (d) drying said protective coating to form a hard and durable protective coating shell integrally wrapped around said strip body.

Abstract:

Alpha rhythm brain waves are related to mental and physical relaxation and healing. Based on the studies of bionics, this invention relates to inducing oscillatory alpha rhythm to the human body, and relates to the means of the alpha rhythm machine applied to human body. Research of the alpha rhythm of human brain wave patterns and EEG has indicated special recorded data of alpha rhythm brain waveform which is the bearing of the proper biological information of relaxing and healing. The apparatus was developed and built to construct and release the simulated human brain alpha rhythm signals which are at the frequencies ranging 8 Hz–14 Hz and at the amplitudes altered in high or low. Both the frequencies and the amplitudes are changing at a non-stationary random order in the duration of the event, respectively. The electrical signals are transformed via a transducer, into three forms of energy, 1, alpha rhythm electromagnetic energy and alpha rhythm interfering static magnetic energy; 2, alpha rhythm sub-audio acoustic oscillatory energy; and 3, alpha rhythm mechanical vibrational energy. The combining energies from the apparatus can benefit the whole human body or only the area affected by illness, for example, treating men's prostate problems or treating sleep disorders.

Abstract:

System and method for reducing voltage fluctuations in an integrated circuit with multiple power domains and sub-domains. A preferred embodiment comprises a plurality of voltage sources and a switching network (such as switching network ) wherein outputs from the plurality of voltage sources are inputs. The switching network can couple the outputs of voltage sources (based on a mapping) with the same output voltage levels to reduce voltage fluctuation amongst power domains coupled to the coupled outputs. The coupling may be performed by a switching structure (such as the switching structure ) that can controllably electrically couple two outputs.

Abstract:

System and method for detecting transistor failure in large-scale integrated circuits by measuring IDDQ. A preferred embodiment comprises a switch structure for an integrated circuit made up of a plurality of main switches (such as main switch ) selectively coupling a power sub-domain to a power source pin, a plurality of pi-switches (such as pi-switch ) selectively coupling pairs of power sub-domains, and a plurality of IDDQ switches (such as IDDQ switch ) selectively coupling the power sub-domains to a VIDDQ pin. The pi-switches can decouple the power sub-domains while the IDDQ switches can enable the measurement of the quiescent current in the power sub-domains. The use of pi-switches and IDDQ switches can permit the measurement of the quiescent current in the power sub-domains without requiring the use of isolation buffers and needed to powering on and off the integrated circuit between current measurements in the different power sub-domains.

A time-to-digital converter (TDC), a system-on-chip including a TDC, a method of phase detection for use in synthesizing a clock signal and a non-linearity corrector for a TDC. In one embodiment, the TDC includes a chain of delay elements configured to receive a clock signal and generate delayed clock signals. Abstract:

A network testing system for a device under test (DUT) uses a test tool to generate test packets provided to the DUT as source traffic and to receive the test packets back from the DUT as destination traffic. Before the test packets are returned from the DUT to the test tool, an external router receives the test packets from the DUT and forwards them back to the DUT. The DUT has a first pair of DUT interfaces coupled to the test tool and a second pair of DUT interfaces coupled to the external router. The DUT has a first virtual router with a first routing table configured to direct test packets received on one of the interfaces in the first pair of DUT interfaces to the external router. The DUT has a second virtual router with a second routing table configured to direct test packets received on one of the interfaces in the second pair of DUT interfaces to the test tool. Thus, test packets output by the test tool traverse the DUT more than once before returning to the test tool.

Abstract:

The present invention provides a colorful coating material which consists essentially of a 10 to 40% of paint in weight, a 50 to 90% of talcum powder in weight and a 5 to 10% of volatile agent in weight. The paint, the talcum powder and the volatile agent are evenly mixed to form a plaster form coating mixture. The coating mixture is adapted for coating around an object by means of an extrusion mold to form a protective coating. When the protective coating is dried and solidified, a hard and durable protective coating shell is formed and wrapped around the object.
